Accommodation

English-taught programmes

Along with your admission letter you will receive an accommodation form where you can indicate some general preferences regarding your housing in the Netherlands. Once you have paid the first installment of your tuition fees, you will be allocated a room either:

  • in a student flat, or
  • with a landlord or landlady, or
  • from a Dutch student who’s away during his/her traineeship

Students who live within a 250km radius of the university and students who have applied after the official deadline are expected to arrange their own accommodation. Useful websites for finding a room in Den Bosch are:

www.hertoghuur.nl
www.kamernet.nl
www.househunting.nl
www.housinganywhere.com

The room is allocated to you for the period of one year. This means that towards the end of the school year, you will need to find your own accommodation.
HAS Den Bosch will assist you in finding a room by providing information on where to look and by letting you know about available rooms.

If you have any questions regarding finding your own accommodation, please do not hesitate to contact us at international@hasdb.nl

Dutch-taught programmes

Students enrolling in a Dutch-taught programme, are expected to look for their own accommodation. Since you will be almost fluent in the Dutch language prior to your studies, you will not experience great difficulties in finding a room.

HAS Den Bosch has some information available that will help you find a student room. If you want to seek assistance in finding a room, please send an e-mail to international@hasdb.nl
